Shape Our Shared Future: Regional Consultations
As we build the 2027–2032 Strategic Plan, we need to move beyond assumptions and understand how diocesan priorities are actually experienced in day-to-day parish life.
We are hosting in-person Regional Consultations across the Diocese to gather your lived experience. These sessions are not just about listening—they are an invitation to share your aspirations and vision for the future, helping us shape a strategic plan that is grounded in your local perspectives while oriented toward our collective goals.
We need to hear the hard truths about what is straining our communities, as well as the bold ideas for what we should grow.
What We Will Discuss
To ensure our time together is productive and focused on real structural and spiritual needs, we will be exploring questions such as:
- What helps or hinders your participation in diocesan life?
- What would make the Diocese feel more responsive, relevant, and supportive?
- How does your parish approach sustainability, renewal, and outreach?
- What should the Church be brave enough to try next?
Who Should Attend & Format
These consultations are designed for Parishioners, Clergy, and Youth. We strongly encourage the attendance of lay leaders, wardens, and parish treasurers who hold the practical realities of our buildings and budgets.
To honor everyone’s time and distinct roles, these will be full day sessions divided into two parts: a half day with parishioners and community members, and a half day with clergy.
(Note: A dedicated Youth Gathering is also being coordinated for May.)
